Blue Bird Promised Remove the Attribute on Bali Taxi

The management of Blue Bird, co. promised to remove their identity and Blue Bird attribute under Bali Taksi logo from their vehicles.

“Blue Bird Group Management promised to take off every attributes which for all along attached on that Bali Taksi,” said the head of Transportation, Communication and Information Agency Made Santha in Denpasar on Monday.

After a close meeting with Blue Bird Group co. management, he said that his party would observe the seriousness of that promise. If in this week that attribute still attached then Transportation agency will give the Surat Peringatan Pertama (SP-1) – the first warning letter –

“With Blue Bird Group management promise, we remain to be an observer toward that taxi fleet,” said Santha.

It is said, Blue Bird Group attribute removing not merely in term of logo attached on that taxi fleet but also with the plank name in their office company.

according to him also a warn toward PT Praja Bali Transportasi to take off all attribute with “Blue Bird Group” logo had pointing to Keputusan Menteri Perhubungan 35/2003 – Minister of Transportation Decree concerning traffic regulation.

“We send a letter to the management of PT Bali Praja Transportasi according to the Minister of Transportation Decree Number 35 years 2003. It is due to that taxi fleet that operated on field used the authorization of PT Praja Bali Transportasi,” said this man.

Head of PT Blue Bird Group Public Relationship, Teguh Wijayanto said that his party soon will removing Blue Bird logo attached onto that Taksi Bali fleet.

“We will followed the warn and suggestion from Transportation Agency to take off Blue Bird attribute attached on the Bali Taksi fleet. We will conduct it as soon as possible,” he said.

Transportation Agency called Blue Bird management since they for all along, without any regret used their company logo onto the taxi fleet operating in Bali.

Even before Blue Bird Group Vice President, Noni Purnomo on Wednesday (3rd February) said that Blue Bird Group website identity that is under Bali Taksi logo on their vehicles are not the name and logo of the company registered as the owner of operating authorization, that is PT Praja Bali Transportasi.

She said that Bali Taksi is a taxi transportation service company managed by Blue Bird Group under the banner of PT Praja Bali Transportasi company according to the Bali Governor Authorization Letter Number 551.21/4570/Bina.Ek dated April 19, 1994.

She also denied that the number of taxi operating illegally in Bali is 750 units.
“Our taxi fleet is not illegal. We already had the authorization to operate in Bali,” said Noni.

BMKG Warn Maritime Tourism Agent

Badan Meteorologi Klimatologi dan Geofisika (BMKG) – Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Department – Territory III Denpasar issued warning to the maritime tourism agent in Bali to take alert with the wave with 3-5 meter height along Bali coastal. That big wave happened as the effect of tropical storm.

According to the BMKG Territory III Denpasar prediction, the big wave along with vast wind will happened in the middle of February until the end of the month.

Head of BMKG Data and Information Division III Denpasar, Endro Tjahjono in his statement in Denpasar on Monday (8th February) confessed that the big wave along with the vast wind that will happened fear would disrupt crossing activity at ports in Bali.

“Depend on the tropical storm activity, if the wave will be more than two and a half meter height then ASDP party will forbid any crossing activity to take place in the first place,” said Endro Tjahjono.

Head of BMKG Data and Information territory III Denpasar, Endro Tjahjono wishes for the fishermen to keep alert and not to sail when the big wave happened.

According to Endro Tjahjono also, the probability of extreme weather such as hard rain and big wave will keep happened until the end of the next March. Whether, for rainy season in Bali will end in the next April.
