Tirta Kusuma Get Hit by Abrasion

Since three days ago, people at Tirtakusuma Village Candikusuma Melaya should keep aware. It is due to the beach abrasion that becomes wider until overthrown the building and resolved the road.
Location monitoring on Monday (February 1) showed several building located ashore such as Water Police post and fish auction site that recently developed little by little starting to collapse. The foundation get hit by the seawater abrasion makes this building look aslant.

Besides, a road at the beach shore resolved for about 50 meter. Whilst, the high water starting to inundate Baitul Ma’mur Mosque and tens of people house. One of local figure named Ali Fatayani confessed that since last three days seawater indeed becoming higher than usual as far as on Sunday (January 31) at night the seawater started hit people’s house ashore.

“The seawater also entering mosque,” he said on Monday (February 1). In fact, added Ali, the abrasion at Tritakusuma beach felt fierce since December last year but that not as worse as last Sunday night.

“This condition make the people could not sleep due to the danger that spying them all the time,” he complained.

That abrasion besides inundating the mosque and several house in that area, said Ali, it also make several building collapsed like Police Water Post, fish auctions site and quay at that place.

“Even two boats were destroyed by the wave,” he added.

People committed that they are afraid and stay alert for the abrasion will get fiercer than before.
“It is not possible for the seawater will get to Denpasar-Gilimanuk road,” said Hulian, one of the citizen at that area.

According to the meatball seller at that area, the abrasion has hit lots of people house including his house. “Suddenly huge water drag my house moreover big trees around the beach also get collapsed,” he said.

Nowadays, Hulian and several people in that area had to flee to their relative’s house and get rid of the danger ahead them.

“It need serious concern from related institution. The government should overcome this problem,” as he hoped.

Perbekel Candikusuma, Wayan Bagiayasa said that his party actually had try t o anticipate abrasion impact that could happen but due to the high water his party couldn’t do anything.

“We had reported this to the district government as well as to the regional government,” he said.
