Anjungan Air Minum Otomatis (AMO) – automatic water protrusion – now available at Puputan Badung Field Denpasar in order to help the people around that field to find water that is ready to drink easily.
Denpasar Major, I.B Rai Dharmawijaya Mantra on Thursday wished for the existence of AMO will give the benefit for the people who feel thirsty when they take a rest after doing varied of activities at that field.
“Hopefully AMO could bring benefit for Denpasar people,” he said after officially launched AMO at Puputan Badung field.
Director Denpasar PDAM – Local Water Company – Putu Gede Mahaputra said that his party since 2008 had built AMO area at Subita street and its surrounding that serve 415 houses connection and until today has been develop into 472 connection.
“We also will build one AMO connection unit at Sanur Beach tourism area in Denpasar,” he said.
According to him, ready to drink water program is part of Denpasar Capitol City Government commitment in bringing service for the society.
“AMO supply was our strategic way to support tourism accommodation supporter,” said Mahaputra.
He stated that AMO supply at Puputan Badung field was part of commemoration activity in celebrating the 18th Denpasar City Birthday
Besides, he said, AMO in that area could be utilized by the people for free.
AMO supply at Puputan field is used to help and make everything get easier for the people to get water ready to drink.
“AMO installation in that location also has a function as an introduction for domestic and non-domestic people that Denpasar has already had ready to drink water,” he said.
AMO management at Badung Puputan field according to Mahaputra had went through seven steps filtering process and completed with filtration ultra technology as well as ultra violet for its sterilization.
Thus make AMO will supply very clear water and fulfilled the standard of health.
“AMO has better water quality since it fresher and has assured quality since the production is in our hand,” he said.
Besides, he said that AMO environmentally friendly and no need to use mountain spring so we could maintain the preservation of spring and it surrounding environment.
He asked the people to accompanied the government in maintaining and preserving that public facility so it will continuously utilized by the people around that area.
“We hoped the people will care for it and maintain this public facility so it will has benefit for those who need ready to drink water,” he said.
